The defending champion Aryna Sabalenka is the top seed in the women’s draw. The Wimbledon Champion Iga Swiadek returns to the second seed.
Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic were among the early victims at US Open of the past year. Both players left in the first week when Sinner won the title.
