Google provides a warning to billions of Mail Mail users via Passworthack

Google has warned Google Mail users that a notorious group of hackers strives for the account holders after receiving access to a massive database.

The attacks result from a violations of the Salesforce Cloud platform, which is exposed to Google services users to other intruders.

With around 2.5 billion people who use Mail and Google Cloud, it was recommended that users act to suspicious activities to a high degree and take suitable security measures in order to better protect themselves.

The Threat Intelligence Group from Google for the first time warned of the attacks in June and revealed that threat players aimed by social engineering attacks in which the IT support staff were shaped.

In August, Google confirmed that there were a number of “successful intrusions” due to impaired passwords.

The data violated information that was “fundamental and largely publicly available business information”, but they were used to carry out more serious attacks.

“We believe that threat players who use the” Shinyhunter “brand to prepare to escalate their blackmail tactics by launching a data leak site (DLS),” said a blog post by Google Threat Intelligence Group.

“These new tactics should increase the pressure on the victims, including those associated with the latest data injuries in UNC6040 in connection with Salesforce.”

According to Google, the method of IT support staff has proven to be “particularly effective in the trick of employees” via telephone calls. Victims often come from English -language branches of multinational companies.

Google said that all users were affected by e -mail by e -mail on August 8th.

Shinyhunters, which seems to be out of use Pokemon Franchise, which was first founded in 2020 and is associated with several top -class data injuries.

The victims included AT&T Wireless, Microsoft, Santander and Ticketmaster.

Google advises users to update their passwords regularly and use additional safety measures such as two-factor authentication.
