Shark Beauty contributes to his global ambassador leader with brand new talent

Shark Beauty extends his talent pool with two new professionals to his global ambassador network. The news comes only two years after the hair care brand was the first official partner to launch its ambassador program with the stylist of Chris Appleton, stylist Kim Kardashian.

Bobby Eliot, one of the latest ambassadors, is a stylist for a list of Hollywood stars -Gracie Abrams, Miley Cyrus and Julia Garner -, Meshing Mod techniques with traditional styles. Naeemah Lafond, the Haitian-American artist and the second ambassador of Hai Beauty, is also the founder and creative director of “Texture on Set”, an immersive show that is supposed to educate and celebrate the artista of structured hair in beauty and fashion.

According to the brand, Eliot and Lafond inspire the next generation of beauty, rewrite beauty standards and promote discussions about inclusiveness and diversity in the industry.

“Bobby Eliot and Naeemah Lafond in the Haark Beauty collective stylist marks an important milestone for our brand and illustrates our mission for all hair,” said Kleona Mack, Shark Beauty CMO, compared to the WWD. “Your incomparable technical know-how and your creative influence will help us form the future of hair tools if we continue to develop innovative solutions that deal with real challenges with styling, from thermal damage and overcrowded tool kits to the lack of effective options for structured hair and at the same time perform powerful results for the hair types one and two.”

Eliot shared the same feeling and drew attention to the importance of this partnership, not only to product and experimental innovation. “I have already seen first -hand how the brands estimate both art and innovation. Their commitment to listening to consumer problems and the eye of the boundaries to create tools that support experts and consumers equally, motivating and exciting for me and the larger industry,” he told WWD.

Lafond recognized the effects of working with a brand like Shark Beauty on awareness in the broader beauty -mecca. “This partnership with Shark Beauty goes far beyond the product itself,” said Lafond exclusively WWD. “It is based on representation, effect and increase of the hair types that have historically been under -supplied. We work together to form this next chapter by fulfilling the needs of all hair types for an important step towards integrative beauty.”

Shark Beauty was introduced in 2021 by the appliance manufacturer Sharkninja and offers a number of styling tools and air dryers that aim to reduce the hair damage in heat. “Everything we do begins with a consumer problem – that is the actual competitive advantage of Hai Beauty – and we know that consumers are thinking more about the health of their scalp,” said Danielle Lessing, Senior Vice President for Global Product Development at Sharkninja, previously with WWD.
